My name is Allen Flemming. I am currently writing Larry Norman: Rebel Poet: The Biography of Larry Norman. I have been close friends with the entire Norman family for over 30 years. It was a friendship which included living with Larry and his brother Charles in North Hollywood from 1989 to 1993, countless visits to the hospital to visit Larry from his first heart attack in 1992 to his last in 2008. Larry and Charles and their parents all at one time or another came to my house churches both in Los Gatos and Hollywood, California. Larry was always a faithful friend to me. I was with Larry in his final days.
I worked at L’Abri Fellowship for 3 years, Completed Last Days Ministries Intensive Discipleship Training, appeared in a 700 Club Documentary called The Jewish Roots of Christianity, I have a Master of Arts in Theology from Fuller Seminary, Master of Christian Studies from New College Berkeley, and a Master of Fine Arts from Saint Mary’s College. I am a Doctoral Program dropout.
